It is often said that Key West has some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Millions of people visit this tropical destination every year for snorkeling, paddleboarding, and dolphin swims. When you are visiting this island, climb aboard the Appledore II to enjoy the rich, colorful sunset in the true Key West fashion.
A champagne sunset sail is a perfect way to finish off a day experiencing Key West Florida. Regardless of whether you spent the day walking around the island sightseeing, or in one of our many watersport activities, you will much enjoy ending the day gliding along the waves as you see the setting sun and rainbow of colors gleaming across the sky.
Everyone that visits Key West should experience the Schooner Champagne Sunset Sail. As you tour the Historic Key West Harbor, you will look upon the celebration at Mallory Square that happens every night. This two-hour cruise will provide you with a one of a kind view of the colorful skyline that Fort Zachary Taylor paints against the island and horizon. There will be complimentary wine, beer, champagne and sangria on board along with soft drinks and water. A fruit and cheese platter is served for a night time dining experience on the island.
The Appledore II is an 89-foot Windjammer boat that was built based on the style of 19th century schooners. It first set sail in 1979 from Portsmouth, new Hampshire and its owners, Herb and Doris Smith, sailed around the world stopping at various ports in exotic locations along the way.
